Murgh Musallam is a traditional Mughlai dish from the Mughlai/Awadhi cuisine, known for its richness, flavor, and creamy texture, popular in the Mumbai Thane region. Our authentic Murgh Musallam ready mix is made from roasted ground masala which renders it its flavorful taste and the addition of ground almond paste adds in a rich texture to the whole dish.  A perfectly palatable dish to savor together with family and friends.

Ingredients

Chicken 500 g (net), Onion coconut paste, Ginger garlic paste (Ginger, Garlic, Coriander, and green chilies), Authentic spices and masala, Refined Sunflower oil, Turmeric, Red chili powder, Almonds, and curd.

Preparation

1) Thaw the chicken completely (It take approximately 4 to 6 hours to completely thaw once kept at room temperature). Heat oil in a pan/pressure pan & add the thawed chicken to the pan

2) Add salt (as per requirement) and sauté for 10-12 minutes. Rinse the empty pack with (50ml – 60ml) water thoroughly to recover the leftover masala.

3) Heat this water and add it to the sautéed chicken and cook till the chicken is tender.
